API SDK Organizations

These are the organizations I come across in my research who are doing interesting things in the API space. They could be companies, institutions, government agencies, or any other type of organizational entity. My goal is to aggregate so I can stay in tune with what they are up to and how it impacts the API space.

SDK Bridge is a company that specializes in explaining technology through documentation and software development kits. It provides a variety of API-related services including: API Documentation Sample code and tutorials Highly technical copywriting Training sessions on how to use software platforms Technology classes for youth These services can be a critical piece of delivering your API. SDK Bridge says that it is a bridge between people and technology. So very true. SDK Bridge provides a set of services that any business looking to deliver an API should evaluate. Even though you many be able to generate your own marketing materials, SDK and other supporting API documents, you may find more value bring in an outside perspective to make sure you explain how your API solves problems, adds value, and can be successfully integrated to customers systems.

SDK Critic is a rating and review website for iOS and OS X frameworks. Consult SDK Critic to determine how hesitant you should be about using an unfamiliar framework and which parts of it you should be particularly wary of, based on the consensus of the developer community.

SDKS.IO

SDKS.IO is, at heart, a store for SDKs allowing people to create their own, download other SDKs and, most importantly, search through our database of SDKs. We automatically look through existing API repositories including Mashape to bring you a comprehensive list of the SDK world.

Google Cloud Source Repositories

Google Cloud Source Repositories provides Git version control to support collaborative development of any application or service, including those that run on Google App Engine and Google Compute Engine. If you are using the Stackdriver Debugger, you can use Cloud Source Repositories and related tools to view debugging information alongside your code during application runtime. Cloud Source Repositories also provides a source browser that you can use to view your repository files from within the Cloud Console.

Google Apps Admin SDK

Administer domain resources, create reports, and manage subscriptions. Use the Directory API to create and manage users and groups for a domain, along with their aliases. Programmatically access the functionality found at the Admin console Organization and users tab. Use the Reports API to gain insights on Content with Google Drive activity reports. Audit administrator actions. Generate customer and user usage reports.

APIMATIC

APIMATIC is an automatic SDK generator for Hypermedia APIs. Providing SDKs or client libraries not only reduces the time required for your customers to begin consuming your API, but also provides competitor advantage by targeting the variety of programming languages. While the market pressures you to release early and release often, you will often find yourself constrained with respect to time and resources. As a result, maintaining SDKs becomes untenable which ends up becoming a support nightmare.

AWS CodeBuild

AWS CodeDeploy makes it easier for you to rapidly release new features, helps you avoid downtime during application deployment, and handles the complexity of updating your applications. You can use AWS CodeDeploy to automate software deployments, eliminating the need for error-prone manual operations, and the service scales with your infrastructure so you can easily deploy to one instance or thousands.

AWS Code Pipeline

AWS Data Pipeline is a web service that helps you reliably process and move data between different AWS compute and storage services, as well as on-premise data sources, at specified intervals. With AWS Data Pipeline, you can regularly access your data where it’s stored, transform and process it at scale, and efficiently transfer the results to AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon EMR. AWS Data Pipeline helps you easily create complex data processing workloads that are fault tolerant, repeatable, and highly available. You don’t have to worry about ensuring resource availability, managing inter-task dependencies, retrying transient failures or timeouts in individual tasks, or creating a failure notification system. AWS Data Pipeline also allows you to move and process data that was previously locked up in on-premise data silos.
